History

The origin of "Papee" began around 1994 with Mrs. Champee Boonma, or Aunt Champee. Initially, she worked as a grocery store owner in the local market (Kad-Kao-Jao) to earn income for supporting her family members. With Aunt Champee's diligence and expertise in cooking, she saw an opportunity to create additional income. She initiated and decided to produce pork sausage (Moo-Yor) and meatballs to sell at her shop in the market. After experimenting with sales for a while, it turned out that the products received good feedback from customers. Word-of-mouth spread among locals, and some bought the products as souvenirs. This caused Aunt Champee's products to quickly become well-known both in Lampang province and neighboring areas in a short period of time.

Later on, "Papee" officially registered and established a company under the name "Papee Food Products Co., Ltd." as a manufacturer and distributor of processed meat products nationwide. The company’s headquarters is situated at 103 Moo 12, Mueang District, Lampang Province. Our production facility has been certified through the Ministry of Public Health’s program for upgrading food production facilities for meat products. Subsequently, we obtained international certifications for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), CODEX GHP/GHP (Good Hygiene Practice) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) respectively until the present day.

Currently, "Papee" offers a wide variety of processed meat products to comprehensively meet consumer demands. These include products such as pork sausage (Moo-Yor), meatballs, fermented pork (Naem), Chinese sausage (Kun-Chiang), fish sausage (Pla-Chiang), shredded pork, meatball dipping sauce, and more. The product line also includes Traditional Northern Thai food products such as Northern Thai sausage (Sai-Oua), pork rinds, young chili paste (Nam-Prik-Num)(Nam-Prik-Sao), and ready-to-eat Hung-Lay curry. These offerings aim to elevate and promote local Northern Thai cuisine, in order to be more popular and widely known.
